Trump Drives Democrats Insane With the Funniest ‘Christmas Vacation’ Parody You’ve Ever Seen

President-elect Donald Trump seems set to enjoy his happiest Christmas in years, while Democrats might be bracing for a less-than-merry holiday season.

On Thanksgiving Day, Trump shared a parody video that highlighted his sense of humor. The clip, posted on his Truth Social account, reimagined a famous scene from the 1989 classic National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

In the original, Clark Griswold (played by Chevy Chase) carves into a turkey that disastrously crumbles into dust. In Trump's version, the scene is reworked with President Joe Biden taking on the role of Clark Griswold, declaring to his guests, “If this turkey tastes half as good as it looks, I think we’re all in for a very big treat.”

The guests at the table are portrayed as prominent Democratic figures, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Vice President Kamala Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, and Rep. Adam Schiff, among others. However, in a twist, Biden’s turkey delivers an unexpected surprise instead of the usual holiday meal disaster.

Trump seems to have a knack for bringing humor and energy into the mix, doesn’t he? His latest Thanksgiving parody video is a perfect example of that, complete with clever nods to his trademark style. It’s hard not to laugh at the over-the-top antics, and honestly, it’s refreshing in its own way. The highlight? Trump bursting out of the turkey and performing his signature dance—the one that has practically become a cultural phenomenon. Only Trump could turn a turkey carving scene into a viral moment of pure entertainment. But, as always with Trump, the brilliance lies in the details. Adam Schiff playing Cousin Eddie and chiming in with “Save the neck for me” is pure comedic gold. The reference to Trump’s nickname for Schiff, “little pencil neck Adam Schiff,” is just the kind of subtle jab we’ve come to expect. Add Kamala Harris laughing hysterically beside him, and it’s a scene straight out of a political sitcom. Then there’s Nancy Pelosi sipping wine as Biden carves the bird. Ilhan Omar grinning while Trump dances, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the background, mouth wide open—probably mid-rant about something. The caricatures are exaggerated, yes, but that’s what makes it so funny. This parody actually brought to mind another viral video from 2016 after Trump’s first election victory. That one, created by JOE.co.uk, spoofed the famous John Lewis Christmas ad. It featured a young girl receiving a trampoline for Christmas, only for the family dog to steal the show. Just like this Thanksgiving clip, it combined sharp humor with a bit of holiday mischief. Love him or hate him, Trump knows how to put on a show.

This version was far more satisfying:

In addition to the hilariously over-the-top Christmas Vacation parody, Donald Trump served up a classic Trump-style Thanksgiving message that was equal parts defiant and optimistic. In the early hours of Thanksgiving Day, Trump shared his holiday wishes on Truth Social, writing: "Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" Nothing like a little fiery rhetoric with your turkey and stuffing, right? But leave it to Trump to deliver his unique blend of sharp political commentary wrapped in a festive bow. For his supporters, it’s a rallying cry; for his critics, it’s more fuel for their dinner-table debates. And one can’t help but imagine the reactions to his Christmas Vacation parody video, especially among his biggest detractors. Hopefully, someone queued it up for Joy Reid at her Thanksgiving gathering—it might’ve added some unexpected “entertainment” to the occasion. Love him or hate him, Trump continues to do what he does best: dominate the conversation and leave everyone talking long after the meal is over.
