The final two episodes of Agatha All Along just dropped on Disney+, and "Follow Me My Friend / To Glory at the End" begins with Alice Wu-Gulliver awakening in the spot where she had fallen. However, we quickly realize it's only her spirit—Death has arrived, reminding Alice that she was a protection witch who died shielding someone else, and now, Death is guiding her into the afterlife.
In the present, we learn Agatha Harkness had promised Death some bodies, but her real aim was to divert Death’s attention away from Billy Maximoff. Death, known as "Rio," sees Billy as an unnatural being, an abomination, and insists that while Tommy isn't out there yet, Billy has already taken a second life for himself, and she won’t let him do the same for his twin.
Agatha has discovered that if Billy dies, he’ll keep reincarnating. However, if he willingly offers himself up, the cycle would end. She makes a deal with Death, agreeing to give her what she wants as long as she’s left alone afterward. When Death departs, she strangely slashes through the scenery as if tearing a film set.
Agatha, Billy, and Jennifer Kale find themselves back on the Witches' Road, only to unexpectedly wake up in a morgue. Agatha realizes she accidentally bound Jen, and once Kale regains her powers, she disappears.
Determined to help, Agatha assists Billy in finding a new body for Tommy. Somewhere, a prank goes wrong, leading to a boy’s accidental drowning, and with that, Billy disappears—Tommy Maximoff’s spirit has finally found a new host.
Meanwhile, Agatha confronts Death in her basement. The all-powerful spectre ruthlessly attacks, and advice from Lilia Calderu about staying low comes in handy. Wiccan arrives, fully suited up, to help, even sharing his power with Agatha, but Death remains too strong.
In a surprising turn, Agatha sacrifices herself with a final kiss to Death. She vanishes, leaving behind only flowers and her brooch. Billy is released and heads home, where he realizes he’s the creator of the Witches' Road. Just as he looks around his room, he turns and sees someone—the episode cuts to black.
The last episode, "Maiden Mother Crone," transports us back to 1750, where Agatha is in labor. Death appears, seeking the baby, and Agatha begs for her child’s life. All she can offer is time.
In the flashback, we see Agatha give birth to her son Nicholas, whom she crafted from "scratch." Driven to secure their survival, she embarks on a dark path, stealing power from other witches by killing them—including what appears to be members of the Salem Seven. By the time Nicholas is six, he has become part of her twisted mission, helping her lure witches by performing a song that would eventually be known as the Witches' Road ballad.
Their song is a trap: Nicky performs it in different places, drawing witches in so Agatha can isolate and kill them. But that night, Death arrives to claim Nicholas. After burying her son, Agatha is approached by another witch who heard the song and seeks the Witches' Road, hoping it will grant her deepest desire. However, the promise was always a lie; over centuries, Agatha lured countless covens, eventually betraying them to steal their powers. In doing so, she kept her end of a dark bargain with Death—delivering bodies in exchange for sparing her from the afterlife.
Agatha had planned a similar fate for the coven introduced in the series and was stunned when an actual doorway appeared. In the present, Agatha returns as a ghost in Billy’s bedroom, now wearing a costume and sporting white hair reminiscent of her comic book counterpart.
In a surprising twist, we learn that Billy unknowingly created the Witches' Road and caused the deaths of his fellow witches, wielding powers similar to those of the Scarlet Witch. This mirrors WandaVision’s sitcom illusion, and he returns to Westview, intending to banish Agatha.
However, Agatha’s confession—that she fears the afterlife and facing Nicholas—changes things. Billy decides to close the door, creating a memorial for their fallen coven members. Jennifer, having survived, regains her powers and flies away.
Finally, Agatha reclaims her brooch, and, in a moment of redemption, proposes teaming up with Billy. Together, they set off to find Tommy.
There’s no post-credits scene, and no Mephisto cameo, but the episode hints at a potential lead-in to a Scarlet Witch movie.
